Optimism states the glass is half full. Pessimism portends that the glass is half empty.

 The TRUTH is that objectivly; the drinking vessel contains half its volumetric capicity, allowences for evaporation notwithstanding.

        Unbelievable? Unimaginable? I know the artists of Tumblr. They have incredible imagination, hence they could believe the things most people would deem impossible or unlikely. The death of the home and office PC? Too Soon? The end of Days? The existence of God? Granted, that’s a wide swath of things. Closer? OK how about belief in ones self?  Belief in the virtues of good, encompassed by the teachings of religions? Belief in the powers of evil and darkness? What about a simple belief that people are essentially good, or are fundamentally flawed and prone to unspeakable evils. YES! ( A wise answer.)

   You could turn crazy trying to map the specifics of what you truly do believe and what you don’t. For most of us, our beliefs change with our emotions, our gut feelings and with our degree of commitment and faith. Faith, is a slippery kind of word too. What is faith, but the trusting and reliance on the decisions we’ve made; on what ever it is we believe in. Trust? I’m sorry. I’ve misplaced mine just this moment. Gee, Go ON!. Let us all let all our humanity hang out and “say” Love and its counterpart hate. If you’re normal, you probably want to stop now, and demand a tangent, a direction and or an explanation.

  The average person who reads this is now unsettled because his/her intellect is now at war with your emotions. Your belief, trust, faith, love not to mention God and love have all been brought together in one spot and challenged. Even how we define beauty or discord is subjective to our artists eye, or to our hearts eye. Some people see better with their heart and brain, than with their eye. Am I attempting to consolidate the limits of these gifts? They certainty constitute more than mere words. They evoke emotions that constitute who you (we) are as people. Am I reaching out to pull ever-ones pucker-chain and stir up your feelings? I’m certain I have done that for a few, as I am certain that a few of you have disconnected and retreated to the safety of your intellects corner.

   Confusion? Illusion? How about truth? None of these words or concepts are set in stone for any of us. Should they be? Somewhere between the absolute black and the absolute white, hiding in the fuzzy shades of grey hides the truth. Even there it waits only for a moment before becoming lost. All of this was written to simply make you think and to feel. What you think and feel will be different for each of you, as varied as the number of stars. There are no “correct” or absolute answers. These were just a few questions tapping on your outer shell. The shell of illusion in which you feel normal, some would call it your mental comfort zone. It’s good to think and feel, and wonder about without the need for the questions or the answers.( they once called that innocence) Like tuning a musical instrument one should leave illusion behind, and let the soul out for a walk around the bock, every once an awhile.  Gather impressions upon your soul without the need for judgement or words. It isn’t easy. Most of us who try, get yanked back by our conditioning and habit of putting people and things into tiny boxes with labels. Seeing without your eyes? Being without judgemental interpreting of our senses input? Yes I know, it sound like I’m off my meds. It is OK to not understand. There are a few who know what it is, without understanding. The invitation to come out and play stands. I hope to be with you all when we get there. :)
